Celebrating the Start of the Summer Season at Powder Mountain
The summer season kicks off at Powder Mountain on July 4 with an Independence Day celebration! Our Fourth of July Party at Hidden Lake will feature live music, mountain biking, axe throwing, cornhole, and more. Food and drinks will be available for purchase in our beer garden.
Specially priced mountain bike park tickets will be available during the event for just $20 and can be purchased here. If you’ve already purchased a Summer Lift Season Pass, you won’t need to purchase an additional ticket for this event.
This event will run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with yard games and the beer garden staying open until 9 p.m. Don’t miss out on the fun, or on the chance to enjoy the best views in town for the Ogden Valley Firework Show!
Summer Operations Begin July 6
Following our Fourth of July celebration, our regular summer operations will begin on July 6.
One of Powder Mountain’s most anticipated summer attractions is our brand-new lift-access mountain biking experience. Mountain bikers and their gear will be carried to the top of the mountain via a specially-designed ski lift. At the top, you can choose between two flow trails with a few singletrack tech trails. In total, there will be more than 10 miles of downhill trails available, with more than 1,200 feet of vertical drop. These brand-new trails are only the beginning—Powder Mountain plans to add two to three trails to this amazing experience every year!
Starting on July 6, the lift-access mountain biking experience will be open weekly from Thursday thru Sunday. Bikers can purchase a daily lift ticket or one of several summer pass options. Bike rentals and repairs will also be available from the HL Bike Shop, located behind the Hidden Lake Lodge.
In addition to the lift-access trails, multi-use trails for hiking and biking will be available to visitors, free of charge, with no tickets required.
